The ‘Connecting Volunteers’ Program is for University of Calgary students who are interested in taking part in on and off campus activities and events by volunteering. Through out the year, UrbanCSA will be sending out emails and social media posts about events and activities being held by UrbanCSA, partner organizations, and clubs at the University of Calgary and all across the City of Calgary, who are in need of volunteers. Students who do decide to take on these volunteer opportunities will be awarded with hours for their University of Calgary co-curricular record, by UrbanCSA. As it is difficult for students to get the minimum hours required to have a co-curricluar record (20 hours) by volunteering at a single event with a single organization, through the ‘Connect Volunteers’ Program, students will be able to volunteer at various events and have all their volunteer hours combined into one single position!
