conflict over airport tunnel funding continues

City officials have been warned new money isn’t likely for an airport tunnel that would provide an east-west connector in that part of the city.

An agreement between the city and the airport authority to build the 96th Avenue tunnel at the same time as a new runway relies on the provincial and federal governments committing almost $200 million for the project by March 1.

    the city and the airport authority have to be bluffing. there’s no way they could design something so stupidly. i mean, everyone knows how b.s. like this affected mirabel, trudeau, and yeg…
