What a spectacular idea. Food being a central part of family and social life is a concept that has certainly seen decline in recent years. Families not eating together, and supermarkets being antisocial gatherings of people. My community association is starting a communal garden, and I am very excited to see it, and experience a creation of local and social food production.

Ben – please keep us posted on how your community association is proceeding with its communal garden, and whether you need any assistance. Sounds like a great idea!
